Dustin Lynch has signed on for the “Gretsch Presents the Fifth Annual Georgia On My Mind” benefit concert at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville tomorrow night (Tuesday, June 26th). The celebration of the Peach State’s musical mavericks and chart-topping songwriters is hosted by the Peach Pickers – Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, and Ben Hayslip – and benefits the Georgia Music Foundation, which supports music education and cultural enrichment programs in the state. Previously announced performers this year include Lauren Alaina, John Berry, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Travis Denning, Randy Houser, Chris Janson, Jamey Johnson,Trea Landon, Michael Ray, and songwriters Pat Alger and Tony Arata, who are the recipients of the Georgia Music Foundation Flamekeeper Award, which is presented to individuals whose tireless work preserves and promotes Georgia’s musical roots and traditions. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's 19-year-old daughter, Maggie, made a rare appearance at her parent's Soul2Soul The World tour stop in London, Ontario late last week. She sang her version of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ blues ballad, “I Put a Spell on You,” which the crowd applauded thunderously.
