Chris Young will host the third annual Music Teachers of Excellence Awards on Tuesday, May 8th. The event, presented by the CMA Foundation, will honor 34 music educators from districts across the state of Tennessee, as well as Chicago, Cincinnati, Seattle and Los Angeles, for their innovation and commitment to music education. Chris said, “As someone who’s benefitted from music education, I am so thankful for the music teachers who helped me along the way. I look forward to celebrating the music educators who share their love of music with the next generation.”

Tyler Farr has released a brand new single called “Love By The Moon.” The song was produced by Sugarland's Kristian Bush, and while he didn't co-write it, Tyler said, “Me and my wife Hannah have been married for a year and a half now, and this song is for her. We live in the country and enjoy our lives together on the farm. We laugh, work and play hard. This song is us. Being a country music artist, I’m away from home a lot. So, when I do get time at home, I make those days count and don’t take one for granted. We live by the sun and love by the moon . . .” “Love By The Moon” will be featured on Tyler's upcoming album.
