Brett Young has released “Ticket To L.A.,” the title track for his upcoming album, due out on December 7th, in addition to the entire track listing. The song is available digitally everywhere.

Brett co-wrote “Ticket To L.A.,” which paints the story of strangers sparking up a conversation and falling for each other while waiting to catch a flight at the airport. He told Billboard, “I knew we had to name the album after 'Ticket To L.A.’ because that title sums up such a big part of my life. I’ve spent a lot of hours flying back home to Los Angeles from Nashville. It was a tough season when I first made the move, but so much has changed in my life since then, and I’m in such a happy place. I think you can feel that shift in the new music too, so I can’t wait for people to hear to the album.

Brett is enjoying success today, with four consecutive chart-toppers, all of which were co-written by him, but he tells us the journey to getting here has not been easy. “It's a long grind, and a lot of it is super thankless and you're gonna be faced with the decision at some point because it seems like you should probably go do something else cause it hasn't happened yet, and I think the hardest thing for me was, and it happened multiple times, when it feels like maybe it's time to like, 'Alright, that was fun. I tried,' and I have a ton of those moments and I think those are the hardest moments because you feel like you're being selfish or irresponsible to keep pressing on even though that's what you were supposed to do, and so I think kind of reconciling that conflict has been the hardest thing for me, and, you know, thank God it worked out. I moved to Nashville to actually walk away from the artist side and focus on the writing side. I always say if you want to make God laugh tell him your plans, you know?”

“Ticket To L.A.” is the second single released from his upcoming album, which features his current single “Here Tonight.” Fans can pre-order the 13-track project now on
