Dierks Bentley kicks off his Mountain High tour tonight (Friday, May 18th) in Columbia, MD with special guest Brothers Osborne and LANCO. The tour runs straight through the fall, wrapping up in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl on October 13th.
Dierks tells us that for him, this tour is more about ensuring a great time for all than anything else, so his opening acts were an important choice. “This feels like a second career almost and a second chance. It's almost like you're starting off again where you've had the success now where you care but you don't care. I just want this to be fun for me at the end of the day. I already got a lot of great stuff going on and I'm gonna spend the whole summer out there. I got a nine-year-old, a seven-year-old, a four-year-old. It's not about making money. It's about my life. I want to have a great summer, have a lot of fun, make great memories, be totally present from the second we get there on site, thinking of the fans' experience when they first pull in to tailgate to when they leave and get home safely, so it's really fun, and you want to spend that summer with people that you want to be around.”
Dierks' new studio album, The Mountain, will arrive in stores on June 8th.
