Dierks Bentley is nominated for Video of the Year for “Black” at Sunday's (April 15th) ACM Awards, but he's also scheduled to perform his latest single, “Woman, Amen.” In fact, for Dierks, the highlight of every awards show is the music, as he tells us: “My favorite thing about awards shows really are the performances. So, every awards show that I’ve been to or been nominated (for), I just go into the building already feeling like a winner. It’s just a fun night for me and my wife and I get a chance to go in there and hang out and see old friends and cut up a little bit, but then sit down and watch the performances, you know? Just see who’s doing what, what the collaborations are, the production ideas, the singing, the musicianship.”

The 53rd annual ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Dierks steps down from co-hosting the show this year to hand the baton back to Reba McEntire, who'll handle hosting duties for a record 15th time.
