Keith Urban drops his new album, Graffiti U, today (Friday, April 27th). It includes his singles “Female” and his latest, “Coming Home,” featuring Julia Michaels. Keith recorded the new project at his Nashville area home studio for the first time, and while sonically it plays with the bounds of country music, the superstar tells us it's 100 percent him. “I was making a 'me' record and I wanted to be honest with myself and be true and my audience have come out and seen us play enough to know that this record's very much me, and I have a lot of colors that I paint with. I grew up playing Country music, traveling around but certainly make no secret of the fact I've played in cover bands a lot of my life, too, so I'm a mix of a lot of things, but I think the consistency that I've found amongst all my records if I listen to them all back-to-back would be I love big hook choruses, I love sing-along songs, I love a good beat, I love a song that makes me cry, makes me dance, makes me feel good. I love a good guitar solo. I love universal themes about the human condition. This album is full of all of that.”

Keith will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today. Check local listings.

His Graffiti U World Tour with Kelsea Ballerini kicks off in June.
