Keith Urban's Graffiti U World tour is well underway, having launched nearly two weeks ago with special guest Kelsea Ballerini. Keith is carrying a lot of production this year, thanks to 22 tour buses and Graffiti U-wrapped trailers and a crew of 93 to set it up and break it down night after night.
Keith has switched things up with this new tour, which provides him an even closer connection to his fans in the audience, as he tells us exclusively. “There's a few moments in the show that I've not done before that will probably be a little more personal than I've been in the past. This feels like the right tour to highlight that. All the production is brand new so the look will be completely unique. I've always done some sort of performance out in the audience. I've done that really since the beginning, and it's just more from my club days walking out and standing on the bar and performing (laughs) to now having a little stage that we might put out there to having a pretty big stage out on the lawn or somewhere out there, and the main stage we always call the A stage and the other stage we always call the B stage. We have a U stage on this tour so it's in the shape of a U and it's gonna be out at the audience and I'll be coming out to you to play so that's gonna be a fun moment, too.” .
Keith sits in the Top 10 this week with “Coming Home” featuring Julia Michaels.
