Sam Hunt’s “Downtown’s Dead” is the most-added song at country radio this week, landing at Number 18 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and marking Sam's highest-ever radio single chart debut. “Downtown's Dead” was co-written by Sam.

It's the followup to his 5x Platinum-selling hit “Body Like A Backroad”, which won Top Country Song at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20th). At 34 weeks, “Body Like a Back Road” set the record for the most weeks at Number One in the six-decade history of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and earned Sam the 2017 Academy of Country Music Award for Single Record of the Year. Sam will also receive the ACM Gene Weed Milestone Award at the ACM Honors ceremony in Nashville this summer in recognition of this achievement.
