Brett Young's sophomore album, Ticket To L.A., debuts this week at Number One on the Billboard Country Albums. Brett co-wrote 10 of the 13 tracks on the project. He will ring in 2019 on NBC’s New Year’s Eve from the Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville.

Dan + Shay's latest single, “Speechless,” climbs to Number One on the Country Airplay/Mediabase chart, while at the same time notching its third week at Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Dan Smyers said, “We wrote this song about our wives, and to see it resonate with so many people is an extra special feeling for us. Having back-to-back No. 1 songs already on this album is a testament to the support from our fans and friends at country radio. What an incredible way to wrap up an incredible year!” Dan + Shay also snag the second spot on the Hot Country chart this week with their multi-platinum hit “Tequila.”

Trace Adkins and Exile will team up for a performance of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” on NBC’s Today show this morning (Tuesday, December 18th) along with a few special guests from Shriners Hospitals for Children in the audience. Trace said, “I’m honored to bring a few patients from Shriners Hospitals for Children with me to experience the Rockefeller tree at the holidays. My hope for this campaign is that we are able to play a small role in helping the children and families by creating an awareness for all the good things Shriners Hospitals does year-round.” The Shriners Hospital holiday campaign runs through December 25 and donations can be made at lovetotherescue.org or by calling 855-661-5683.
