Garth Brooks has not done many duets throughout his lengthy career, so Blake Shelton considered it an honor when Garth came calling for his latest single, "Dive Bar." In fact, Blake tells us Garth holds an important place in his personal musical journey. [“He’s the guy that . . . between Garth and George Strait and Earl Thomas Conley, there’s a handful of artists that had that kind of impact on me. Not just that I was into their music – it was a kind of thing that made me understand what I wanted to do with my life.”] SOUNDCUE (:17 OC: . . . with my life.)

Garth and Blake teamed up last weekend in Boise, ID to perform "Dive Bar" live in front of the crowd gathered at Albertsons Stadium on Garth's Stadium Tour. They also shot the video for the song, which should be released soon.

Blake recently charted his 26th Number One hit with "God's Country."

"Dive Bar" continues to climb the charts.
