Chris Young loves all kinds of music, and with his song choice on tonight's (Tuesday, Dec. 3rd) CMA Country Christmas special, he pays homage to a combination of genres with “The Christmas Song.” He tells us: “I love it! I mean, just studying jazz as well as country coming up and classical music and everything, there's a lot of songs that you end up cutting or singing during the Christmas season that are not just one four five, so to speak. There's a lot of like passing chords and interesting melodies and, to me, 'The Christmas Song' was always one of my favorites because of that, and it's fun for me to sing.”

CMA Country Christmas airs on ABC beginning at 9 p.m. ET.

The show, which is hosted by Trisha Yearwood, also features performances by Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Kristin Chenoweth, for KING & COUNTRY, Chris Janson, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, CeCe Winans, Brett Young and Trisha.
