Dustin Lynch took the stage to perform one of his favorite Christmas songs at the CMA Country Christmas TV taping, which took place a couple months ago in Nashville. He was thrilled to be part of the annual event, and all the more so because his well-known crush, Reba McEntire, played host.

Dustin told us backstage: ["Being here is an honor, you know, getting invited to be part of the show. It's incredible, and Reba's hosting. Didn't have to twist my arm too hard, so it's gonna be a fun night and I'm having a lot of fun on stage up there with everybody. I'm having a lot of fun on stage with the band and the backup singers during my song. I'm doing 'Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)' which is like an uptempo kind of fun Christmas song which is kind of my thing. Yeah, so it's gonna be a fun night."] SOUNDCUE (:26 OC: . . . a fun night.)

CMA Country Christmas airs on ABC on Monday (December 10th) at 8 p.m. ET.

The show also features performances by Reba, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Old Dominion, Michael W. Smith, Brad Paisley, Amy Grant, and Martina McBride.
