Man of the Year, yes. But happy in his love life? Nope. GQ revealed its 2018 Men of the Year winners Monday, and named Michael B. Jordan its Leader of the Year. He covers the December magazine, and inside discusses the amazing year he’s had, from leading the epic hit Black Panther, to running his own production company, Outlier Society Productions.
After citing Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Smith as some of the careers he wants to model his after, he said simply: "I want to be worldwide."
His ambition may be good for his resume, but has done little for his love life, he confessed.
"My career is awesome. It is going great. There's other places in my life that I'm f–king lacking at. I'm very mature and advanced in a lot of areas of life. Dating may not be one of 'em," he said. "My personal life is not. I don't really know what dating is."
Of course, if he wants to find someone to date, Nicki Minaj is all in. After pocketing two awards for Female Artist of 2018 and Album of 2018, Minaj expressed her interest in getting to know him better.
"Shoutout to Donatella Versace for custom-making this outfit for me," Minaj said. "And shoutout to Michael B. Jordan, because he's gonna be taking it off for me tonight."
