Kane Brown celebrates his third career Number One single on country radio this week with “Lose It.” Kane co-wrote the song, which is the first single off his new sophomore album, Experiment. With the release of Experiment last month, Kane became the third country artist this year to reach the summit of the Billboard 200 and the only male country artist in 24 years to debut on top of the Billboard 200 with a sophomore release.
Kane said, “When we were in the studio working on this album, I knew we had songs that I was incredibly proud to put on the record . . . that felt different, but still said what I wanted to say. ‘Lose It’ was one of the first songs we recorded, over a year ago. I knew I wanted it to be the first single off the record, but never could have predicted the way people have embraced it. Thank you to everyone in country radio, to my fans and my team for all of the support.”
“Lose It” follows Kane's multi-week chart-topping hit, “Heaven,” which was honored this week (December 1st) by Variety magazine as one of the most-streamed songs of the year in all music genres.
