Today (Friday, October 4th) marks the release of newcomer King Calaway's debut album, Rivers. The 12-song project includes their single “World For Two,” which is making its climb up the charts.

The six-man band did something a little differently and recorded their album pretty much live. Group member Austin Luther tells us exclusively: ["We just really wanted to capture our live sound and energy as much as we could into a studio recording and so we felt that was the best way to do that, and to go back, that's how people would do it in the 60s and 70s so we also wanted to kind of bring that sort of sound and vibe to the record also."] SOUNDCUE (:20 OC: . . . the record also.)

King Calaway will make its debut on both NBC's Today Show on Monday (October 7th) and CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday (October 8th), where they will perform the album’s title track “Rivers.”
