Little Big Town's brand new single, "Over Drinking," is the debut release from their upcoming studio album, Nightfall, which will be released early next year. Once they decided to record the song, Karen Fairchild tells us the rest happened rather unconventionally. [“We started recording ‘Over Drinking’ on the road, and it was a little crazy because we didn’t have a place to record and you have to have a quiet place when you’re recording. So, we basically built a makeshift studio backstage and cut drums and bass and guitars, and it was really fun and spontaneous, and it was all driven from our love of the song, and (we) got back home and finished the recording of the song and wanted to get it to you guys as soon as we could"] SOUNDCUE (:31 OC: . . . as we could.)

Little Big Town's new Nightfall album is set for release on January 17th.

The band's headlining tour of the same name will open with a once-in-a-lifetime performance at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City on January 16th, the day before their new album drops.
