Mark Will has been asked to join The Grand Ole Opry. On Friday night, Vince Gill invited him out on stage, as the two were planning to sing together, and that’s when he surprised Mark with the invitation. Vince said to the audience, “That boy has been the greatest supporter and greatest proponent of what this Opry stands for, these people,” Mark, who started playing the Opry shortly after his debut single “Jacob's Ladder” was released in 1996, was so caught off guard, he dropped to his knees at center stage.

Mark’s official induction night is set for January 11.
