Mitchell Tenpenny will cross a big bucket list item off his list this weekend. He'll make his debut appearance on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday (February 16th). A Nashville native who has grown up in the music business, Mitchell tells us the moment will be nothing short of a dream come true and he'll get to celebrate it with his entire family. ["The whole fam damily! Yeah, we're gonna have everybody here. I can't tell you what it's gonna feel like. It's something I've dreamed about my whole life. I'm just gonna have to step up there and let it just overtake me because that's something that's just . . . I don't even . . . It's not real yet. It's not real yet, so I'll see when I get there. This is something that I've always dreamed of 'what would it look like' and I don't even know. I'm just so blown away that we have the opportunity to play it and (I'm) very grateful."] SOUNDCUE (:25 OC: . . . and (I'm) very grateful.)
Mitchell celebrated his first Number One hit, "Drunk Me," with an industry party in Nashville earlier this week.
His new single is called "Alcohol You Later."
