Old Dominion debuts at Number One this week on the Top Country Albums chart with their self-titled third album. It's the largest-streaming album debut by a country band this year with 13.7 million on-demand audio streams.
The feat reinforces the band's sense of confidence they had going into the make of Old Dominion. Trevor Rosen tells us: “Once you build on some success — you know, we had a couple hit albums, we had some awards — you do hit a point where there is a confidence in the fact that if this is all we ever do this was great and it's working, so you feel comfotable that you're doing something right and you have a little confidence in your own ability, but then also I think the way the album was shaping up, that built the confience even more.”
The band co-produced the album for the first time in their career alongside longtime collaborator Shane McAnally.
Their current single, “One Man Band,” is a Top Five hit and climbing on the country charts.
Old Dominion will take over the famed Plaza on NBC's Today show on Nov. 12th, as well as an appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!.They are also set to perform on the CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 13th.
