Russell Dickerson's 2019 is off to a very good start. He celebrated his career second Number One hit, "Blue Tacoma," with a party in Nashville yesterday (Wednesday, January 16th).

Russell charted his first Number One, "Yours," last year, and he says between the two hits he's definitely seen crowd growth at his shows. ["That's my favorite part of the live show, anyway. Like when we write these songs, in my head I'm on stage. You know what I'm saying? It's just like, I want the fans to connect to these songs so, I mean, yeah, having two Number Ones is completely different. We were just going through old footage and it was the same stage and we're like jumping around going crazy and it pans to the crowd and there's seriously like eight people there (laughs), and so we've come a long way since then but it's still the same show. It's just as much energy with a sold-out crowd."] SOUNDCUE (:34 OC: . . . sold-out crowd.)

Russell and Carly Pearce will kick off their Way Back on January 24th in Cleveland.
