In Thomas Rhett’s latest single, “Sixteen,” he reflects on when he was a kid. He talked to us about the song and what it means to him: “I love all things nostalgic. Like, if there’s a show on Netflix that’s about high school, I don’t care how cheesy or bad the acting is, I just love it because it just takes me back to a place in time where I had such a blast. I loved high school. I loved college. I loved just being a kid. Not that I don’t love being an adult, but I do love, like, just glancing back on those times and thinking about the girls I dated or the movies that were popular or whatever.”
